Swollen ears this afternoon..... ?

Ok so went outside a lot today. (around trees and lots of dirt and stuff) I have done this before but it was a little chillier today.... I was also wearing large hoop earrings, but I always wear those and they haven't affected me in any way before. And when I came back I noticed my ears were large, swollen, red, warm, hard, and numb. How do I get my 16 month old son to sleep on his own in his crib all night?

People advise me to just let him cry. He usually falls asleep nursing and then I nurse him back to sleep every time he wakes up (which is every 2 hours) all night. I am scared he can cry all night long and not sleep at all and then cry all day because he will not get the sleep he needs. I've tried many things like white noise machine, mage, soft blankets, stuffed animals, he just hates it all and keeps crying and jumping in his crib till I get him. I am affraid he can also throw up if he keeps jumping and hysterically crying all night. I am 5'9 and weigh about 210lbs, I am told that a healthy weight for me would be around 135lbs. SO I have just bought a gym p and im meeting with a personal trainer and nutritionist tonight. I am a teenage mother.(15) It was very unplanned. I used to be so immature and stupid back then, didn't know who I was, trying to be someone I wasn't to fit in. Then I got pregnant and that all changed. I decided on finishing high-school online ( homeschool) and got a job at the church's nursery. ( they pay me). I am not on welfare or helped by the state. I plan on finishing highschool and going to college( parents are paying for it) then trying to get scholarship money so I can pay for medical school to become a doctor. I changed and grew up. I gave up being a carefree teenager and jumped into basically a real world. I am accountable to my son and love him to death. I would do anything for this little boy. I am a good mom I know. And thanks to family, friends, and 4500 dollars I had been saving up for years I was able to afford everything my baby needed without having to burden my parents financially. But still people still bash me. Saying I am too young. Saying I should have given him up for adoption. It's not just me. It ALL teen mothers. People don't think they can do it, and one think that frustrates me is they call us s and sluts. Not all of us are s you know. We make mistakes, we are human. We lose our way and make BAD decisions. But at least we take responsibility, grow up, and learn from out mistakes and move forward and start doing right. ( well some of us because there are some bad teen moms but there are bad older moms too). don't you think people judge us too harshly? I asked a question earlier and was going to include this but forgot. From the beginning of my pregnant, and i mean before i even took a postive test, i had twinges in my lower abdomen. Chimney is still hot from a fire i had 24 hours ago. Whats the big deal?

I had a large fire in my fireplace. (Too big for the fireplace). And after the fire and all the coals burned out i could still feel heat coming from the chimney. I have never had an attack on my face like this one. I wash it with a salicylic cleanser, tone it, put the spot treatment on, and moisturize. all the products are burts bees with salicylic acid. I wish I knew why this is happening, I did have an iguana that had a dark patch by her spikes on her back but she molted fine so I never addressed it and she is doing very well she is now huge and 7 years old. My boyfriend and I have been on again off again for about 2 years now. He recently just got back from National Guard boot camp and we had a baby on May 12, 2010. New Betta In a 5 Gallon With Power Filter.?

I got a new betta today at Pet Supplies Plus and their bettas were free! I was so shocked. The grand opening was yesterday and the bettas were given to them as a gift. My poor betta Sparky died last night. I got a Red VT betta. He is really cool and active and he flares at the filter in my tank and at nothing when I have the tank light on. I added some chemicals that Add Beneficial Bacteria to the tank. His fins look a little clamped probably because of when he was in his tiny cup. When he swims by the filter, it looks like he struggles to get away and when he does it, he flares. Is this normal? Is the current too strong? Also, I feed him Betta Pellets and he spit it out 30 minutes after I feed it to him. He has been through a lot since I feed him. Why could he be spitting it out?

I fell and hit my hand and wrist on asphalt 5 days ago. I had excruciating pain at the time. Have been wearing an immobilizer since. I went for an x-ray the next morning, "no clear fracture" noted at the time. I still have moderate pain all the time and take pain meds every 6hrs to be comfortable. Last noc I noticed the tiny fluid filled blisters formed mostly in a line on the back of my hand. I also have alot of itching since yesterday. I do have history of shingles in the past also. I have limited ROM and increased pain when attempting to grip,etc. My question is could there be a fracture? If so, how to diagnose and how to treat? I would appreciate a reply, I hate to return to doctor if not necessary.

The employees in her dept talk about her negatively in front of everyone. The are constantly attaching her and speak to her disrepectfully. They are also condescending. I want to help, but I don't know how. We are at different levels. She is more of my supervisor. We started at the same time, so we have developed some form of kinship. We are union. If given the right deal should I keep the house?

I live in a home that was built in 1850 (mortise joints) on a half acre. The partial basement has cracks and holes that the water shoots through when it rains heavy (heavy rain for 2 to 3 days) so i will need to have the floor re-done with the proper drainage to sump pump. The crawl space will have to be dug so it can become an actual crawl space, no one can fit in now. The basement supports which are now rocks piled on top of each other will have to be replaced. The home will have to be gutted. New plumbing. The upstairs ceilings must be higher by going into the attic. I will need a new roof. The stairway will need to be reconfigured/moved to allow for proper angle. I will be able to have the electric redone for free. If I did do this I was going to have it done piece meal. Now for the real question...The bank and I will be having a meeting. I paid way too much (250k 30 yr mortgage) for this home, should I keep it and if so what is the max I should go if they offer a deal? I am not emotionally attached to the home however, I am in a great school district, great community, and my taxes are low. The likelihood of me owning a home again is slim to none as I am 41 and in the middle of a bankruptcy due to under employment. I ask for real answers not jokes or wise remarks.

Seriously don't even get me started on those two demons. I wrote a huge deal on this in college. Jon Venables and Robert Thompson are evil, and not only did they get AWAY with the murder and torture of the little trusting toddler, they were also released and granted new identities so that they would be PROTECTED. Situations like these are very sticky when it comes to justice and what can be considered appropriate, just because they were little evil beings in the skin of children it allowed them less of a punishment. It was a particularly heinous crime and should have been treated accordingly. James Bulger will never get a second chance, but the two boys who tortured and ended his life apparently were granted whole new lives. It is outrageous. Just a random little health question?

Ok, so I've been sick lately and I never usually get sick. Earlier this semester (college) I developed sypmtoms that kind of go with the flu. I had a really bad headache, phlegm, fever and cold flashes, muscle soreness. When that all went away a few days later my sore throat and phlegm stayed around. I noticed bumps in the back of my throat. Now it feels like I have water in my inner ears and can't concentrate worth crap. When I try to study now, my neck starts hurting really bad and I get headaches and eye aches. I need to get new gles, and have all 4 wisdom teeth pulled. Could these be why I've been feeling crappy. Now, I don't know if that has anything to do with this but, I've noticed that when I pee its really concentrated and smells like popcorn. It even foams (protein). Could any of this be caused by stress? I had my period a week and a half late and it was dark and had clots and almost brownish in color. Maybe from stress? I'm known to not have regular periods and miss some now and then. I'm not ually active. Any ideas? I'm too busy to go to the doctor, and don't have the money (college student). I'm going full time (cles 6 days a week- 20 credit hours and I work Sundays for a couple hours). Any ideas would be great and appreciated. Thank you.

my 12 month old does not respond to his name(he only turns to me when he hasnt seen me all day but all the other times i am with him when i call his name he doesnt turn to me--then when i call his name a bunch of times and he still doesnt respond, i call his name in an angry and loud tone--then he grunts at me like he is angry i used that tone); he is also doesnt feed himself--doesnt hold his own bottle and doesnt do finger foods--during feeding time he pulls his hands away towards his back and brings his open mouth towards me as if asking me to feed him--but he wont do it himself--finally he doesnt call me ma-ma or his dad da-da...he sometimes babbles sounds like: "zzhha zzha, or na-na, ta-ta, taa-ooo, blows raspberries etc" but doesnt call anyone anything specifically. he is walking on his own although a little wobbly and is otherwise social- he is easily made to laugh with games like peek-aboo but these issues are bothering me- do you think he has a developmental issue?
