Should parents be allowed to vote?

Surely you should mix in your emotions with your voting> How else can you make a choice that will suit you? If all parents feel that school is a waste of time because their kids are coming back tired and confused and learn more at home, really strongly- that's an emotion surely? But they should be allowed to vote for the party that means kids don't have to go to school(example). If parents feel strongly that kidnapping hasn't got a serious enough penalty, then that's fine. No, it won't stop people doing it, but it is better for the parents to know that instead of being locked up for 2 months, the kidnapper is locked away for 20 years.
