Was eight years locked up enough for abducting, torturing and murdering a baby? Jamie Bulger?

Seriously don't even get me started on those two demons. I wrote a huge deal on this in college. Jon Venables and Robert Thompson are evil, and not only did they get AWAY with the murder and torture of the little trusting toddler, they were also released and granted new identities so that they would be PROTECTED. Situations like these are very sticky when it comes to justice and what can be considered appropriate, just because they were little evil beings in the skin of children it allowed them less of a punishment. It was a particularly heinous crime and should have been treated accordingly. James Bulger will never get a second chance, but the two boys who tortured and ended his life apparently were granted whole new lives. It is outrageous. I am a mother also and I can't even imagine James's mother's daily pain. I don't like wishing ill will on anyone, but they are two people who I wouldn't mind offing themselves.
