How long after removing staples from the head should you wait to swim?

My daughter hit her head at the park 8 days ago. I took her to the hospital, and they gave her 4 little staples in the top of her head. They told me I can talk the staples out in 7 to 10 days. She had school today, so I decided not to take them out til she got home. So I just took them out 15 mins ago. It looked all healed up, and no bleeding. Is it okay for her to go swimming today? Or does she have to wait 24 hours? She never even had to take antibotics because the doctor said unless she gets ozzing or drainage she didn't need them. Anyone had this situation? Thanks!!
