Do u think a consultation with a dentist telling me to wear braces 4 years too long?

I need braces but i do not know if invisalign will work. Ive been told invisalign will correct small overbites(like how small) and crooked teeth. Estimate how long would it take. As for the question above i really don't want to wear braces for 4 years its out of my mind. Should I have another consultation with a orthrodontist?
